September 2012 - Classic Motorsports Magazine - 2002 street/auto-X car
Classic Motorsports magazine is wrapping up their build series on a 1972 BMW 2002Tii that has undergone a complete restoration and transformation. It started life as a Chamonix Tii that was more rust than steel. It's since been torn down and rebuilt with an eye for the Sports Car Club of America's Solo class F Street Prepared. The good people at Classic Motorsports used a fair amount of Ireland Engineering parts in the engine rebuild, as well as other bits like the front anti-roll bar and high-capacity radiator.
